What is the Accompaniment Programme?
The Accompaniment Programme is designed to support families of missing persons by promoting their psychosocial well-being. It provides emotional and physical solidarity, helping families reconnect socially, and access community resources. Key objectives include offering guidance on navigating complex emotions, and providing individual emotional support to help families develop coping strategies. The programme fosters group discussions and activities to encourage sharing experiences, strengthening resilience, and reducing emotional strain. It also aims to raise public awareness, minimize stigma, and encourage activities that aid in the healing process.
